Environmental consciousness has always been Laxmi Diamond’s goal and we have been working hard to keep our impact on the environment to the minimum. In our Golden year of the company, we made a huge statement when we declared; ‘We will be a carbon neutral Company’. This audacious target has been adopted because the company is committed to operating sustainably and the world needs to be preserved for future generations.
We will strive for this with the assistance of renewable power sources to achieve a reduction of carbon footprints and encourage cleaner business models.
To bring this vision to life Laxmi Diamond is already in the process of adopting projects that use renewable energy. The latest and perhaps more important development that we have embarked on is windmill energy production to enhance the process of becoming a carbon-neutral company. It is noteworthy that this project is created with the use of renewable resources, and thus can be considered as an example of our activity being aimed at the active protection of the environment.
Thus, the procurement of wind energy is not only saving itself from the use of fossil fuel but also paving the way for other companies in the industry. We introduced sustainable practices always and it is proved that sustainable practices and business growth are not mutually exclusive and will create a green future.
The case of Laxmi Diamond has indicated that it is aspiring to significant steps to increase the use of sustainable energy such as renewable energy. Today for effective function and economical windmills have been installed in Umrali village Jetpur Taluka Dondal District. They source their electricity from these windmills to light up their offices thus cutting down their emission of greenhouse gases considerably.
It needs to be mentioned, that this step strengthens our concern for the environment and the constant aim towards carbon neutrality policy implemented by Laxmi Diamond. By installing windmills, Laxmi Diamond is able to reduce its environmental effects while at the same time creating a model of how manufacturers can go green.
Laxmi Diamond with the use of Windmills produced by Suzlon has achieved a great leap towards environmental conservation as it uses wind energy to fulfill its operations. Laxmi Diamond has received state-of-the-art technology windmills from Suzlon, the prominent player of the renewed energy sector which plays a vital role in the generation of 3 MW of renewable energy
This plays a vital role in Laxmi Diamond on its way to becoming a carbon-zero company since wind energy forms a good percentage of power consumption hence reducing the use of fossil energy. The utilization of Suzlon windmills in its company’s power resources announced Laxmi Diamond as an environment-friendly company, as it hedges fifty per cent of its carbon footprints.
These windmills create 3 MW of renewable energy which is used for its operation and required by Laxmi Diamond Couture thus making it a pioneer in preserving the environment within this line of business. This measure is a sign and an attempt to address the mitigation of its carbon footprint and support for green energy.
Wind energy utilization and reference are in line with Laxmi Diamond’s strategic plan of having a sustainable company and being socially responsible for any environmental damage that may be occasioned by economic development. Through Suzlon and its technology, Laxmi Diamond is at a good pace in realising its carbon-neutral vision and such a model exemplifies how organizations can move to clean power sources and be agents of change to the environment.
Laxmi Diamond has incorporated Suzlon to produce windmills for generating carbon-neutral energy to make much headway in the sustainability process. Thus, with the help of the new 3 MW series launched by Suzlon, Laxmi Diamond has been able to develop previously unprofitable fields and increase the overall efficiency in different wind conditions. The S144 wind turbine generator is one of the largest of this kind manufactured in India.
They can produce up to 3 MW on site conditions the theoretical capacity of S144 is 15 MW depending on site conditions while the hub height range of S144 Is between 140 to 160 meters making the S144 a technological improvement. At its peak, the S144 assumes the position of India’s tallest wind turbine that harnesses better and beyond habitats in greater heights and transforms low wind zones into profitable prospects.
Saying much about the S144 fleet, it notches 40-43% more generation compared to the S120, the previous model by Suzlon. 1 MW wind turbine. This increased efficiency was proof of Suzlon’s capacity to improve the efficiency of the wind potential, which formed a core agenda for Laxmi Diamond to lower its carbon footprint.
