Rough assortment
From this point, a rough stone's transformation into a diamond begins. Upon arrival at our facility, each raw diamond is categorized based on its distinct qualities of colour, clarity, and carat. Our skilled craftsmen evaluate each rough stone's potential, distinguishing potentially perfect diamonds from inferior stones.
Diamond cleaving and mining
One of the main steps in assessing the precise final appearance of a diamond is designing. Before determining the ultimate form, size, and weight of each stone, our craftsmen carefully consider all potential outcomes. Minor inclusions that occur naturally are artfully intended to enhance the diamond's lustre. The next process involves cutting the rough stone into pieces, allowing it to be completed as individual stones.
Laser sewing
The selected stones are then split into two pieces using a blade or laser saw. Laxmi Diamond has evolved with technological advancements by incorporating lasers, which enable accurate sawing. These processes require high competence, and at Laxmi Diamond, we utilize both methods to achieve optimum precision.
Cutting & polishing
Finally, the skilled hands at Laxmi Diamond precisely plan each cut and facet, giving the diamond its final form. Every step of this process demands meticulous attention to intricate detail, which our skilled artisans execute with utmost dedication.
Assortment & grading
The graded and separated polished diamonds are then sent for final certification. Diamonds are categorized as certified or non-certified based on size, colour, clarity, and price. Before submitting each stone to a diamond certification agency, our experienced graders employ established methods, combined with meticulous examination and a thorough 4Cs evaluation. If a diamond fails to meet standards, it is re-cut and re-polished. Our goal is to exceed every client's expectations with absolute quality, from the initial stone to the final product.
