Set up 3 polishing factories.

1994

Opened flagship factory in Surat employing 2500 workers.

1995

Appointed Sightholder by The DTC.

1996

Opened our first jewellery factory in Mumbai for the domestic market.

1999-2006

Won the Award for being the 2nd largest exporter from india for 8 consecutive years.

2000

Opened another jewellery factory in SEEPZ for the export market.

2003

Launch of the jewellery brand.

2005

Sir Gabi Tolkowsky appointed worldwide spokesman for Gabrielle and New Training Consultant to laxmi’s manufacturing operations.

2006

jewellery with branded diamond GABRIELLE ® launched in India in July ’06. NOOR ™ launched in Canada.

2008

Launched Noor jewellery brand in India.

2010

Founder of Laxmi Diamond Mr. Vasant Gajera received a Life time Achievement Award by Retail Jewellers India.

2010-2011

Won an Award from GJEPC for being the 2nd &3rd largest exporter from india .

2011

Pan India presence of 200 Multi Brand Outlet & 11 Exclusive Jewellery Brand Outlet.

2012

Laxmi Diamond Group celebrated 40 years of its journey with felicitation of employees by Mrs. Varda Shine, CEO of De Beers group of companies. Achieved DTC Sightholder status on 30th March 2012. LINKED IN LOVE launched in India

2013

Laxmi Diamond Group celebrated 40 years of its journey with felicitation of employees by Mrs. Varda Shine, CEO of DTC, De Beers. Laxmi Diamond inaugurate and start our new state-of-the-art manufacturing factory at Gajera Circle, Surat.

2014

Our retail jewellery brand completes 10 years of successful operation. Chairman, Mr. Vasant Gajera felicitated with Honorary Title of “Vatan Na Ratan” by Trividh Dhaatu, in home town of Amreli.

2015-16

Highest CSR Awarded for ranking first in the Highest CSR activities category at the 43rd Gem & Jewellery Awards 2016. Largest Exporter Received prestigious award of Largest Exporter of Cut & Polished Diamonds from 43rd GJEPC – Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council India. Cut & Polished Diamonds–Large Honoured for ranking first in the Cut & Polished Diamonds-Large category by 43rd GJEPC – Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council India.

2015

Honored with “Most Socially Responsible Company Award” by 41st GJEPC - Gems & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, India 2014”.

2016

Honored with “Most Socially Responsible Company Award” and “3rd Largest Polished Diamond Exporter Award” by 42nd GJEPC - Gems & Jewelry Export Promotion Council India.

2017

Celebrated Vatsalya Dashabdi Mahotsav for completing 10 happy years of Vatsalyadham–a home for orphans.

2018

Organised Free Medical Check-up and Medicines Camp at Sutharpada, a triable area in Gujarat, benefitting more than 2500 village people.
